This Project benefits VPET institutions, teachers, workplace mentors, students and the public who are interested in VPET.
The Project' s progress and updated deliverables will be announced in a timely and accessible manner in the section of Project Development Progress and the page of Teaching and Learning Packages in the Project website.
All the Project related documents are open to public' s review upon registration. The documents can be viewed and downloaded from the page of Archives & Documentation in the Project website later.
Currently the Project is collaborated between Vocational Training Council (VTC), the Open University of Hong Kong (OUHK), Caritas Institution of Higher Education (CIHE) and Caritas Bianchi College of Careers (CBCC) and is funded by the Quality Enhancement Support Scheme (QESS) under the Self-financing Post-secondary Education Fund. Nevertheless, we welcome new partners and individuals to join the Project for sustainability after the completion of this Project in 2018. Please contact the Project Team for details.
We welcome teachers, workplace mentors, students and the public who are interested in VPET to register as users.
There is no registration fee for users.
Currently there is no institutional user account provided.
It is not necessary to register through your institution since all interested individuals can register as users.
Once registered, there is accessibility to all the materials on the page of Learning and Teaching Resources and Documentation and Archives in the Project website.
The purposes of the seminars and training workshops are to equip stakeholders with the most updated pedagogical strategies in vocational and professional education and training (VPET) through structured continuing professional development programmes and provide a platform for knowledge sharing and exchange.
Education Development Officers from Centre for Learning and Teaching of Vocational Training Council, guest facilitators from local and overseas institutions and industry professionals will deliver the seminars and training workshops.
Academic and teaching staff from vocational and professional education and training (VPET) institutions and higher education institutions, VPET workplace mentors, VPET stakeholders, and interested members of the public are welcome.
All seminars and training workshops are free of charge.
The updated information of the seminars and training workshops will be uploaded to the Project website regularly. Additional emails will be sent to all registered users, staff of project collaborating institutions, and other relevant institutions and organisations.
The seminars and training workshops are open to members of the public; hence there is no need to enrol through institutions.
Certificate of Attendance (with training hours) will be issued jointly by VTC, OUHK, CIHE and CBCC after completion of the seminars and training workshops.
We welcome requests for specific topics, however, the discretion rests with the Project Team.
The platform can be accessed by various systems and devices and the learning and teaching materials are also developed for cross platform access.
The multi-media learning and teaching materials are user friendly and normally do not need specific programmes and apps to run.
User guides and online tutorials will be uploaded later to familiarise users with the platform and the multi-media learning and teaching materials.
